We are called to be good stewards of all that God has given us. The holy Apostle Peter wrote in his first epistle: “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God” (1 Peter 4:10). The Apostle Paul, in his second letter to the Corinthians, encourages us to “sow bountifully” so that we may also “reap bountifully” (see 2 Corinthians 9:6-7). We also remember the widow’s mites (see Mark 12:41-44) and recognize that every little bit (or mite) helps.
